The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime 702/2020 registered in Police Station Outpost Manikpur, P.S. Kotwali, District Korba C.G. for offence punishable under section 420 of IPC.

As per the prosecution case, the applicant obtained Rs.5200/- from complainant Dilip Kumar and 13 others to provide job in Kusmunda colliery. However, subsequently, the job was not provided, thereby offence has been committed.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that charge sheet in this case has been filed, applicant is in jail since 18/08/2020, therefore the applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Considering the fact that charge sheet has been filed, taking into nature of allegation and for the fact that no further evidence would be required, this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail. 6.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the

applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed.
