The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for direction to the respondents to decide the petitioner's application for leave dated 18.02.2019 in accordance with Chhattisgarh Prisoner's Leave Rules, 1989.

Learned counsel for the State submits that benefit of parole has been extended to the petitioner and the Chief Secretary, Govt. of Chhattisgarh has directed all the District Magistrates of the State to decide the applications for grant of parole, within fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

In view of the statement of the learned counsel for the State, the writ petition stands disposed of.
