1. Heard.

2. Though learned counsel for the petitioner raises several grounds assailing correctness of the validity of the order dated 09/02/2017 passed by the Naib Tahsildar in revenue proceedings, in the absence of there being any ground that Tahsildar has no jurisdiction to pass the order or that principles of natural justice have been violated or actuated by malice, I am not inclined to entertain the petition because the petitioner has an alternative efficacious statute remedy to file appeal before the Sub Divisional Officer as provided under Section 44 of the Chhattisgarh Land Reveue Code.

3. Counsel for the petitioner raises an apprehension that even if he files an appeal it may not be decided expeditiously. It is expected that whenever

proceedings are initiated the authority it is disposed off expeditiously without undue delay.

4. Without commenting on merits and reserving liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the Sub Divisional Officer, petition is dismissed. Sd/- (Manindra Mohan Shrivastava) Judge Kamde
