Hon'ble Shri Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra Order On Board 16/12/2020 :

1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail as he apprehends his arrest in connection with Crime No.135/2020, registered at Police Station Hirri District Bilaspur for offence punishable under Section 376 (2)(n) of the IPC and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

2. The applicant has committed sexual intercourse with the prosecutrix aged less than 18 years on promise to marry.

3. Having seen the material available in the case diary, I am not inclined to release the applicant on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application is rejected. However, liberty is reserved to surrender and apply for regular bail. In such eventuality, the concerned Sessions Court shall consider and decide the application expeditiously.
