Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 23/03/2017

1. The grievance ventilated through this petition is that even though the petitioner's application for grant of stage carriage permit filed way back on 28th January, 2016, on which, hearing had taken place on 15.3.2016, till date, no orders has been communicated to the petitioner.

2. Rule 74 of the Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicles Rule, 1994 requires that the applications are to be disposed off within the stipulated period. Therefore, respondents are under an obligation to decide the same if not already decided. Let it now be done within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the order be communicated to the petitioner. However, if the decision has already been taken, communication in that regard shall take place within two weeks.
