Shri Sudeep Agrawal, Advocate Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 03/08/2018 This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of order dated 25/01/2018 passed in the petitions filed by the petitioners. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite lapse of more than six months and despite recommendation made by the General Administration Committee,

order of the Court has not been complied with. 3.

This Court finds that a direction was issued to the respondent / Jila Panchayat to re-examine the whole issue in the light of communications made by respondents 4 and 5 in the writ petition.

The direction was issued on 25/01/2018. The respondent appears to be sitting over the matter. Even though there is no time bound direction given by the Court, orders of the Court are required to be complied with within a reasonable period. Six months have elapsed. It appears that the respondent has made himself liable for proceedings. However, before initiating contempt proceedings, this Court is inclined to grant 30 days time to comply with the order passed earlier, failing which, this Court would be constrained to initiate contempt proceedings. The petition is accordingly disposed off. 5.

A copy of this order be submitted before the respondent for compliance forthwith. The petitioner would be at liberty to revive this petition, in case, the order is not complied with.
