1. Proceedings of this matter have been taken up through video conferencing.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner's application dated 25.08.2020 for grant of parole/leave is pending before the Collector - cum - District Magistrate, Bilaspur (C.G.), which has not been decided yet.

3. Mr. Ravi Bhagat, learned State counsel, would submit that the concerned District Magistrate, Bilaspur (C.G.), would consider the matter within 10 days.

4. Be that as it may, the concerned District Magistrate is directed to consider and decide petitioner's application in accordance with law within 10 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid direction/observation the present writ petition stands disposed off.
