In the instant Writ Petition, the father of the petitioner had died in harness on 10/02/2004 and the application for compassionate appointment is been under processed by the respondents and they have till date not taken any final decision in the case of the petitioner. 2.
Given the nature of dispute and the fact that the claim of the petitioner has not been rejected, rather from the documents it reveal that, the case of the petitioner is under consideration by the respondents, this Court considering the period from the date of death of the deceased employee, does not intend to keep the Writ Petition pending, rather ends of justice would meet if the Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to the
respondents No. 1 & 2 to process the case of the petitioner and to consider grant of dependent employment in accordance to the rules applicable in the department on the date of death of the deceased employee as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 60 days from today. 3.
