1. Heard.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the petitioner moved an application before the respondent No. 1 on 06/10/2015 for grant of regular stage carriage permit having on the route from Surajpur to Premnagar via Kalua, Shrinagar, Ganeshpur in one return trip daily, the application has been remain pending without any decisioin. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that under Rule 74 of the Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicles Rule, 1994 requires that the application are to be disposed off within the stipulated period.

3. Considering the submission, the statutory mandate and the stipulated period, it would be appropriate to direct the respondent No. 1 to consider the petitioner's application. If it has not been done by now, the authority should decide the matter within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
