1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is entitled for the benefit of arrears of salary and further revised salary as per 6th pay commission for which he has already made representation to the respondentuniversity.

2. Be that as it may, respondent-university is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's representation for granting revised pay scale as per 6th pay commission within four weeks' from the date of receipt of copy of this order in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

3. With the aforesaid observation / direction the instant writ petition stands disposed off.
