1. The limited prayer that the petitioner makes is for an appropriate direction to the respondent No. 3 to take an appropriate decision on the representation made by the petitioner so far as certain pending bills which are yet to be paid, which was spent by the petitioner as per the instruction of the departmental Head.

2. The limited prayer is not opposed by the State Counsel. However, he makes a submission that the claim of the petitioner can be decided only in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the field of purchase.

-23. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondent No. 3 to take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner so far as unclear bills are concerned.

4. Let an appropriate decision be taken by the respondents within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
