1. The contempt petition has been filed for the grievance that the order dated 20.01.2020 has not been complied with wherein a direction has been issued to consider the case of the petitioner. The documents filed along with the petition show that pursuant to the order dated 20.01.2020, the petitioner made a representation on 10.02.2020 and it is submitted that the said representation has not been decided. The contempt petition appears to be filed on 10.09.2021 and as per Section 20 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971, the petition has been filed beyond the period of one year from the date on which alleged contempt is committed. Even after taking a period of four months to decide the representation, it has crossed the limitation period of one year.

2. In view of this no cognizance can be taken by this Court, accordingly, the contempt petition stands dismissed.
