1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking for an appropriate direction to the respondents to grant two advance increments to the petitioner for having obtained B.Ed degree w.e.f. 20.12.1996 and also for grant of arrears from the said date.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that, the issue involved in the present petition is squarely covered by the judgment passed by this court in WP No.3977 of 2003 which was decided on 03.04.2006 (Yashwant Kumar Bhardwaj Vs. Municipal Corporation Durg and Another).

3. The said submission is not disputed by the counsel appearing for the State.

Given the said facts, the present writ petition also stands allowed to the extent that the petitioner is held to be entitled for the benefit of two advance increments from the date the petitioner has obtained B.Ed degree subject to verification of the facts from the official records. The respondents are directed to make payment of two advance increments to the petitioner from the date the petitioner has obtained the same till date and appropriate fixation and re-fixation of her salary and other benefits shall be done forthwith without any further delay.

5. The writ petition accordingly stands allowed in terms of the order passed in case of Yashwant Kumar Bhardwaj (Supra) decided on 03.04.2006. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge inder
