The petitioners have filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondents to expeditiously dispose off objections in the matter of determination of compensation towards acquisition of land for construction of National Highway. 2.

It is found that the matter was referred to the Arbitrator on 10.11.2016. Therefore, at this stage, all that can be done is to observe that the competent authority shall decide the arbitration proceeding as early as possible, subject to the cooperation by the petitioners. However, in case, it is not decided expeditiously within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of the order, the petitioners may revive his petition.
