1. The present writ petition seems to be filed against the alleged oral order of termination of the services of petitioner by the respondent.

2. Perusal of the pleadings would show that the petitioner's service under the respondent was that of a daily wage employee. The pleadings would also show that the services of petitioner stood discontinued in the month of January, 2018.

3. Given the fact that the petitioner's status was that of a daily wage employee, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petition in its present form assailing the order of termination may not be maintainable under the writ jurisdiction.

4. Accordingly, reserving the right of petitioner to avail other appropriate remedies available under the Labour Laws and other service laws
