1. The appellant has filed this appeal against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 31.07.2012 rendered by Sessions Judge, Kanker, C.G. in S.T. No.61/2011 whereby and whereunder the appellant has been convicted under Section 302 of the I.P.C. and

CRA No. 819 of 2012 sentenced him to undergo life imprisonment.

2. The report has been received from the Superintendent, Central Jail, Raipur informing that the sole appellant - Mehtaru Ram son of Sobha Ram has died on 04.01.2019. Legal heirs/ dependants of the sole appellant have not moved any application seeking permission to prosecute the appeal.

3. In view of death of the sole appellant, the instant Criminal appeal has abated.
