The applicants have preferred this application for grant of bail as they are arrested in connection with Crime No. 16/2015 registered in Police Station Borai, Distt. Dhamtari (C.G.). for offence punishable under section 20-B of NDPS Act.

As per the prosecution case on 11/10/2015 on a secret information received the applicants were carrying contraband cannabis were coming from Orissa to Nagri. On being searched from possession of the applicants 2 kg contraband article were seized, therefore offence is committed.

Learned counsel for the applicants submits that seized article were not found in possession of these applicants and they have been falsely implicated in this case, therefore, the applicants may be released on bail. 4.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

From perusal of the case diary and the charge sheet prima facie it appears that contraband were seized from possession of these

applicants, considering the nature of allegations and quantity of cannabis which is 2 kg, this court is not inclined to release the applicants on bail. 6.

Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. Certified copy as per rules.
