The pay-scale of Instrument Repairer has been denied to the petitioner on the ground that the said post is not sanctioned in the set up of the concerned College.

It appears, while directing the respondents to decide the representation, there was no direction to consider as to whether the post is required to be created nor any such relief was claimed in the representation filed by the petitioner.

For the foregoing, the contempt petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move afresh seeking appropriate relief as also to claim the entire arrears of pay for the post of Instrument Repairer, on which, he is appointed and working from inception.
