Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made an application under Section 7 of the Private Security Agency Regulation Act, 2005 for grant of license to a private security agency on 26.02.2016 which is still not being considered and decided by the respondent authorities. 2.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the respondent No.2 is directed to consider and take decision on the petitioner's application, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
