The present contempt petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order dated 26.10.2016 passed by this Court in Writ Petition (L) No. 195 of 2016.

This Court vide the said order dated 26.10.2016, had granted three months' time to the Respondents for compliance of the directives given therein.

Subsequently, the Food Corporation of India filed an Misc. Civil Case before this Court, i.e., M.C.C. No. 357 of 2017, seeking for further extension of three months' time so that in between the compliance could be done.

This Court on 19.5.2017 allowed the said M.C.C. and granted further three months' time to the Respondents for compliance of the earlier order. Meanwhile, the present contempt petition has been filed. 5.
As it is the directives given by this Court on 26.10.2016 stand modified vide order dated 19.5.2017 in M.C.C. No. 357 of 2017 and the time sought for by the Respondents still has not lapsed and that the time is
-2there till 19.8.2017, learned Counsel for the Respondents submits that in all probability meanwhile the compliance should be done and therefore the contempt at this juncture is not made out.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner also does not dispute the aforesaid factual position of the present case. 7.
In view of the aforesaid, the present contempt petition is dismissed. However, the Petitioner would be at liberty to file a fresh contempt petition in the event of any non-compliance later on.
