1. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents/State would submit that order passed by the Regional Transport Officer is appealable before the Transport Commissioner under Section 20 of the Chhattisgarh Motoryan Karadhan Adhiniyam, 1991 read with Rule 18 of the Chhattisgarh Motoryan Karadhan Rules, 1991.

2. In view of above, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner may be allowed to prefer an appeal before the Transport Commissioner as per rules.

3. The petitioner is allowed to prefer an appeal before the Transport Commissioner. If the petitioner prefers an appeal

before the Transport Commissioner within 15 days from today, the Appellate Authority would do well and dispose of the appeal as early as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of the appeal after hearing both the parties.

4. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
