1. This writ appeal is against the order whereby the learned Single Judge upheld the preliminary objection to the maintainability of the writ petition filed challenging the legality and propriety of an order issued by the Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly by which the notice of 'no confidence motion' moved against the Speaker was rejected. An application seeking review of the order was also dismissed by the learned Single Judge.
2. With the passage of time, we see that the issues raised in this writ appeal rest academic and all the issues on the question of law ought to be left
open. For this reason, we are not inclined to accede to the request on behalf of the petitioner for an adjournment on the ground that yet another counsel is engaged to argue the matter.
