1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion from the post of Assistant Engineer to the post of Executive Engineer.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner became an Assistant Engineer in the year 2003 and juniors to the petitioner became Assistant Engineer in the year 2007 have been subsequently granted promotion to the post of Executive Engineer in the year 2008 itself, whereas the petitioner's claim has been left out. He further submits that there is no disqualification known to the pettioner for

being not considered for promotion. He further submits that he has already made a representation to the respondents No. 1 & 2 in this regard but no decision till date have been taken by the respondent No. 1 & 2.

3. Given the said facts, let respondents shall consider the representation of the petitioner at the earliest and decide the same preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise respondent No. 1 & 2 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.
