The issue raised in this petition on behalf of seven Primary Societies is that the term of the Board of each of the Society would be co-terminous with the term of the governing body of the Central Society to which each of the society had sent their representative.

The aforesaid issue has been considered by this Court in WPC No.893 of 2017 (Sewa Sahakari Samiti Hirri Block Dhamdha and others Vs. State of Chhattisgarh and others) on 09.05.2017, and it has been held that the protection is not available to the entire body as a whole but only to the representative of each of the primary society who has been sent their representative to the Central Board. Therefore, the petition is dismissed.
