Hon'ble Shri Justice Goutam Bhaduri Order On Board 10/07/2019

1. Petitioner would pray for a direction to the respondents to disburse the amount of compensation as determined by the Land Acquisition Officer while rendering the land acquisition award dated 30.07.2012.

2. Considering the limited prayer made in this petition, the writ petition is disposed of with direction that if there is no legal impediment in disbursal of compensation to the petitioner, the Land Acquisition Officer

shall do well to decide the issue concerning disbursal of compensation to the petitioner within a period of 3 months from the date the petitioner moves fresh representation before the Land Acquisition Officer for such disbursal.

3. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order as opinion on the merits of the case.
