1. Heard.
2. The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition seems to be the inaction on the part of the respondents in not settling the GPF amount payable to the petitioner upon his retirement more than 5 years back.
3. The facts of the case is that the petitioner was working on the post of Accountant under the respondents' department. The petitioner got retired from service on 31/01/2016. Though more than 5 years have lapsed, the petitioner's GPF amount has not been settled till date.

Referring to the documents Annexure-P-1 and Annexure-P-3, State counsel submits that as far as the records and documents available with the state Government i.e. employer of the petitioner, the same has already been forwarded to respondent No.3 for processing GPF amount payable to the petitioner.
5. Counsel for respondent No.3 Submits that it appears that there are certain missing entries and other administrative reasons which have caused the delay in settlement of the GPF amount.

Be that as it may, considering the facts that there is no order passed by respondent No.3 so far as the petitioner's not being entitle for any GPF amount or whether his GPF account showed any negative balance, the writ petition need not be admitted and kept pending rather ends of justice would meet, if the writ petition is disposed of at this juncture directing respondent No.3 to immediately process the GPF claim of the petitioner at the earliest and finalized the same within the outer limit of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. Respondent No. 3 would also be at liberty to make any correspondence with respondent No.2 calling upon more details in the course of settlement of GPF dues payable to the petitioner. The respondent Nos. 2 & 3 are also expected to apprise the petitioner, and if required, call upon the petitioner to submit whatever documents he has, so far as the GPF account of the petitioner is concerned while settling the claim of the petitioner.
-38. With the above observations, this writ petition stands finally disposed of.
