1. The claim of the petitioner is in respect of grant of arrears of revised pay scale payable to the petitioner for a period of between 01.02.2018 to 31.12.2019.

2. Contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner on an earlier occasion had filed the writ petition before this Court claiming for grant of service rendered by the petitioner. The petitioner had filed the writ petition vide WPS 903/2019 and this Court vide order dated 13.02.2019 had allowed the writ petition and directed the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of revised pay scale. Subsequently, the respondent authorities have now taken a decision and have granted the petitioner

-2benefit of revised pay scale. The benefits have been granted on 01.01.2020 onwards whereas the petitioner was entitled for the benefits from 01.02.2018 that was the date on which the petitioner had completed 8 years of service.

Given the limited grievance that petitioner has, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent no.1 & 2 to take necessary steps in ensuring that the grievance of the petitioner so far as arrears of revised pay scale payable from 01.02.2018 till 31.12.2019 is processed and cleared at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
