1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to be issued to respondent No. 2, 3 & 4 in

deciding the representation which the petitioner has made so far as the dispute pertaining to the seniority is concerned.

2. According to the petitioner as per the rules, the seniority has to be given on the basis of merit list published at the time of appointment and as per the merit list, the petitioners are placed above in the merit list. However in the gradation list that the respondents have published the petitioners have been shown lower than persons who were below the petitioners in the merit list. According to the petitioner they have immediately raised an objection before the respondent No. 4 but till date the objection/representation has not been decided. The petitioners have been orally informed that respondent would not like to interfere with the seniority list.

3. Given the aforesaid facts, let petitioner move a fresh representation again to the respondent No. 2 ,3 & 4 supported with all relevant rules and regulations as also the documents if any within a period of two weeks from today and on such representation being made, the respondents are directed to consider the same on merits and decide the same within a further period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the representation.
