1. The petitioner in the present writ petition stood retired on the post of Audit Officer w.e.f. 30.06.2021. The contention of the petitioner is that on the date of retirement there was no disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner nor was he facing any criminal case and in the absence of any such proceedings, there was no reason why the retiral dues of the petitioner should not be released.

2. According to the petitioner though he has now retired for almost three months, the respondents have till date not processed the claim of the petitioner.

3. Given the limited grievance that petitioner has the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent no.1 & 2 to take necessary steps in processing the release of all admissible retiral dues

-2payable to the petitioner which includes provident fund, gratuity, leave encashment and other post retirement benefits.

4. Let entire exercise be completed and payment be made to the petitioner within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order, failing which the entire retiral dues payable to the petitioner shall carry interest at the rate of 10% per annum from the date of retirement till the date actual payment is made.
