1. The limited prayer of the Petitioner is for a direction to the Rent Controlling Authority, Durg (C.G.) to expedite the proceedings on the application that has been moved by the present Petitioner.
2. Learned Counsel for the submits that the Petitioner in the instant case was a tenant of the Respondent in the disputed property. He has been in the tenancy since 2016. That some dispute arose between the landlord and the tenant. The Petitioner approached to the Rent Controlling Authority, Durg in this regard on 05.04.2017.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that though application has been filed in April, 2017 but further proceedings has not been taken by the Rent Controlling Authority till date. The Petitioner is facing inconvenience as the rented property has been locked by the Respondent landlord.
-24. Considering the fact that the case itself has been filed only on 5-42017 and the present Writ Petition was filed on 12.06.2017, this Court does not find any good reason to invoke the Writ Jurisdiction.
5. Considering the nature of the dispute the Writ Petition is disposed of with the only direction to the Rent Controlling Authority, Durg to decide the application of the Petitioner as early as possible. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) kishore V. Judge
