The prayer made by the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is for issuance of direction to the respondents for grant of compassionate appointment.

The State counsel was directed to seek instructions on 26/07/2018. 3.

Thereafter, the matter has been listed again on 03/08/2018 on which date also the State took time.

Today also, the matter is listed and the State counsel submits that, the reply could not be prepared.

Perusal of record would show that, there is an order in favour of the petitioner issued by the respondent No.3 considering his claim for compassionate appointment.

The counsel for the petitioner only wants a direction that the respondent No.3 or whoever the concerned authorities is may act upon the letter dated 21/12/2015 and issue appropriate orders in this regard. 7.

The above-said limited prayer is not opposed by the State counsel. 8.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondent No.3 to ensure that appropriate orders in respect of the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment is issued at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from today.
