This is second bail application seeking for grant of bail to the Applicant who is in jail since 17.03.2018 in connection with Crime No. 32 of 2018 registered at Police Station Bori, District Durg (CG) for the offence punishable under Sections 450 and 376 IPC. The earlier bail application stood rejected on 12.07.2018 in MCRC No.4210 of 2018 with liberty to revive after the prosecutrix is examined. Accordingly, the present application has been filed after the prosecutrix has been examined. 2.

Perusal of the statement of the prosecutrix reveals that she has not turned hostile.

In view of the fact that she has not turned hostile and has supported the case of the prosecution, this court finds it difficult to grant bail to the applicant at this juncture. However, considering the fact that the applicant is in jail for almost 1 and 1⁄2 years, the trial court is expected to proceed further with the trial and conclude the same as expeditiously as possible. 4.
