Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 15/07/2019 1.

The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the departmental appeal that the petitioner has preferred against the punishment dated 31.01.2019 imposed upon him of stoppage of one annual increment with cumulative effect, which has an effect of a major penalty. 2.

Considering the limited grievance that the petitioner has and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner has already preferred an appeal on 13.02.2019 before the respondent No.2, it is expected that the respondent

-2No.2 shall decide the appeal at the earliest preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 3.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands allowed and disposed off.
