1. The petitioner has assailed the transfer order dated 11.08.2017 by which, the petitioner has been transferred from Tokapal to Sub-Division Wadrafnagar.

2. The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that as the petitioner is going to retire within a short period of one year and two months, at this stage, he may be considered for posting in his home district Jagdalpur (earlier called Bastar).

3. The Government policy of posting an officer in his home district is applicable in cases where the employee has one year left for retirement. In

this case, that policy cannot be made applicable, at this stage.

4. If the petitioner has any other difficultly, it would be open for the petitioner to make representation, which shall be considered and decided by the respondents authorities.

5. The petition is accordingly disposed off.
