The limited relief that the Petitioner has sought for, is for an appropriate direction to the Respondent No.2 - Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Ambikapur to take a decision on the appeal that the Petitioner has preferred before the Respondent No.2 authority where the matter is registered as Revenue Appeal No. 131/A-6A/2011-12.

According to the Counsel for the Petitioner, the said appeal was preferred as early as on 4.9.2009, however, the same has till date not been decided. Though, in between, the matter was heard finally but for some reason it could not be decided. 3.

Having heard the learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties, this Court is of the opinion that considering the nature of relief sought for, ends of justice would meet if the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No.2 to decide the Revenue Appeal No. 131/A-6A/2011-12 at the earliest, preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. 4.
