1. The claim of petitioner in the present writ petition seems to be the non-finalization of the GPF amount payable to petitioner on the death of her husband. The husband of petitioner namely Budhram Gond was working under the respondent School Education Department and who died in harness on 06.08.1977.
2. The contention of petitioner is that she has been deprived of the GPF amount which stood credited in the name of the deceased employee.
Further contention of the petitioner is that of late the District Education Officer i.e. respondent no.3 has made certain correspondence with the respondent no.4 and the respondent no.4 in turn has also made some correspondences with the respondent no.2 in respect of settlement of the GPF account of the petitioner's husband.
3. Given the fact that the respondents themselves have taken a stand that the claim of petitioner has to be scrutinized and settled, the present writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents 2 to 4 to immediately process the claim of petitioner for payment of the GPF amount lying in the credit of her husband who died in harness on 06.08.1977. Let the entire claim of petitioner be scrutinized and finalized within an outer limit of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
