1. Heard.

2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.21/2020 registered at Police Station Paandatarai, District Kabirdham (CG) for the offence punishable under Sections 436 and 454 of the IPC.

3. The applicant has allegedly set ablaze the house of the victim

MCRC No. 7549 of 2020 causing loss of household articles valued at Rs.2 lakhs. The incident has been witnessed by one Dileshwar.

4. Considering the eye-witness account of the incident, I am not inclined to release the applicant on regular bail at this stage.

5. Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed reserving liberty to the applicant to move afresh after examination of the victim and eye-witness Dileshwar.
