1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is to the order of transfer dated 17.07.2018 (Annexure P/8), whereby the services of the petitioner has been transferred from Arang, District Raipur to Dantewada on administrative grounds.

2. During the course of the arguments, the counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the petitioner has in between joined his duties at the transferred place of posting at Dantewada. He however submits that his representation against the order of transfer is still pending consideration before the authorities concerned and which till date has not been decided and the order of transfer of petitioner to Dantewada is in violation of various provisions of the transfer policy and the respondents may be directed to ensure a prompt decision on the said representation.

3. The said prayer of the petitioner is not opposed by the counsel for the respondents.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner in accordance with the transfer policy which is applicable in the department.
