1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not taking a decision on the claim application of the petitioner which the petitioner has moved for grant of compassionate appointment.

2. According to counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is the sole daughter of the deceased Raghu Sarthi who died in harness on 25.09.2020. The petitioner has moved her application for grant of compassionate appointment however till date a decision has not been taken by the authorities concerned.

-23. The contention of the petitioner is that earlier certain queries and discrepancies were pointed out by the respondent authorities, however the petitioner has placed all requisite documents sought for by the authorities, however till date no decision has been taken as such.

Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents No.2 to 5, as the case may be, to take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in accordance with policy governing the field at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
