(1) Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondents in principle have decided to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion in accordance with law but due to pendency of the writ petition, his case is not being considered for promotion.
(2) On the other hand, counsel for the State would submit that case of the petitioner would be considered and examined for promotion in accordance with law.
(3) In view of above development, the writ petition stands finally disposed of at this stage place on record the aforesaid statements.
