Agrawal Order On Board 0 7 / 11 /201 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner's application for compassionate appointment is pending consideration before the respondent No. 3 since 14.06.2013 and, therefore, respondent No. 3-District Education Officer, Mahasamund may be directed to decide the same within the specific time frame. To which, counsel for the State has no objection.
(2) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable.
(3) Be that as it may, the respondent No. 3- District Education Officer, Mahasamund is directed to decide the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
(4) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
(5) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authority concerned shall decide the application in accordance with law on its own merits.
