Hon'ble Shri Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra Order On Board 11/12/2020

1. Since all the bail applications filed by the same applicant - Mahendra Kumar Tiwari, they are being heard and decided by this common order.

2. The applicant has preferred these applications for grant of anticipatory bail, as he apprehends his arrest in connection with Crime No.484/2020, 487/2020, 486/2020 and 485/2020 registered at Police Station City Kotwali, Distt. Balodabazar C.G. for offence punishable under Section 420/34 of the

I.P.C. (in all the cases).

3. Applicant along with co-accused persons namely; Mewa Chopra, Kundan Singh Patle, Paras Ram Singh, and Ram Prasad Patel have cheated several people assuring them of providing employment. The accused persons have induced them to pay hefty amounts however, later on neither the employment was provided nor the amount was refunded. The anticipatory bail applications of co-accused Mewa Chopra have already been dismissed in MCRCA Nos.1080,1082,1134 and 1145 of 2020 by order dated 01.12.2020.

4. Considering the nature of allegations and for the fact that anticipatory bail applications of co-accused have already been rejected by this Court, I am not inclined to release the applicant on anticipatory bail.

5. Accordingly, all the anticipatory bail applications are rejected.
