The relief sought for by the petitioners in this petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider their case for confirmation on the post of Peon on which they were temporarily regularized vide orders dated 25.08.2014 and 30.09.2014.

The contention of the petitioners is that, the petitioners before the High Court were initially appointed as daily wage employee under the respondent No.2 and having put in a considerable length of service they were regularized vide orders dated 25.08.2014 and 30.09.2014 and as such all the petitioners by now have put in about five years of service as regular employee, but till date the order of confirmation in service has not been passed by the respondent No.2. Therefore sought for an appropriate direction in this regard.

Given the limited relief that the petitioner has sought for, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of
with a direction to the respondent No.2 to take a decision so far as the claim of the petitioners for confirmation is concerned at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
