1. Mr. R.K. Kesharwani, Advocate appearing for the applicant submits that the order passed by this Court has since been complied with, however, the applicant has not been paid interest on the delayed payment.

2. Perusal of the order of this Court would show that there is no specific mandamus for grant of interest. If at all, if the applicant/petitioner intends to claim the interest, he would have to file fresh proceeding altogether. The claim of interest in the given factual backdrop can not be considered under the contempt jurisdiction of this Court.

-23. Reserving the right of the petitioner/applicant to avail other appropriate remedies, if he so wants. The contempt petition stands disposed off accordingly.
