This petition which is termed as a 'Public Interest Litigation' on the face of it is not a 'Public Interest Litigation'.

The main grievance of the Petitioner is that though a sum of Rs.4,70,000/- is being spent in the name of renovation of the school but the entire roof of the school building has been changed. We fail to understand how this matter falls within the purview of 'Public Interest Litigation'. 3.

If the roof of the school building is damaged, the safely of children is involved and this requires that the school building is made safe for the school children.
