The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order (Annexure P/3) dated 14.06.2019, whereby the petitioner has been inflicted with a punishment of stoppage of two annual increments with cumulative effect. 2.
The order has been passed with the approval and sanction of the Collector. Since the order passed is one, which has been issued under the provisions of Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966, this Court is of the opinion that the order being an appealable order, the present writ petition at this juncture would be premature and not maintainable, on the availability of statutory alternative remedy. 3.
Reserving the right of the petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority challenging the order dated 14.06.2019, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
