1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in occupation of certain part of land since his predecessors bearing Kh.No.449/4 admeasuring 0.0800 hectares and he is cultivating the same. He submits that though the cattle shed was resolved to be constructed on the land bearing Kh.No. P-173 admeasuring 4 hectares, the petitioner has been served notice to vacate the land wherein from the predecessors, he is in occupation which would be evident from the Panchnama. He would submit that prior to issuance of notice, the petitioner has made an application to the Collector to grant land being a landless person as per Annexure P-1

that may be decided within a stipulated time.

2. Considering the issue involved and the fact that the petitioner has already filed an application for grant of land to the Collector vide Annexure P-1, the Collector may decide the same as early as possible within an outer limit of six months.

3. With the above observations/direction, this writ petition stands disposed off.
