Affidavit has been filed by both the parties and it has been stated in both the affidavits that an amount of Rs.4,31,408/- which was earlier deposited by the Appellants has already been paid to the workmen. The Appellants have also deposited Rs.16,45,703/- before the Commissioner, Workmen Compensation.

In view of the above deposit, further execution proceedings are stayed and the Collector is directed to return the vehicle which was seized forthwith to the Appellants without any further delay. The amount which has been kept in deposit may be deposited in the bank account for a period of two years and the disbursal of the said amount alongwith interest accruing thereon shall abide by the result of the writ petition.

It is stated that the writ petition being WPL No.3666 of 2011 be fixed for hearing on 29.11.2016 for disposal of the petition. 4.
