The limited relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the election petition pending before him at the earliest.

The limited relief is not opposed by the State counsel. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent No.1 to decide the election petition at the earliest preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
