Order On Board 05/08/2015 Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner's application for grant of lease for residential purpose has remained pending since long. It is submitted that the petitioner is a person of meager means and belongs to BPL category. It is further submitted that various reports have already been obtained by the Collector in this regard.
Without commenting upon petitioner's right, if the petitioner's application has remained pending, considering that the petitioner belongs to BPL category, it would be interest of justice if the application of the petitioner for grant of lease is decided as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months by respondent No.2.
